Six Principles of Interior Design

A room in a good design will always incorporate the six principles of interior design so as to create a dramatization of a room, which is not only beautiful to the eye but also serve the maximum for the occupants. Even for those who can not afford the services of a professional interior designer, if the six principles applied to the decoration of the room then certainly the end result is a beautiful room.
1. Unity / Harmony
The ultimate goal in any room interior design is that all components of the room creates a harmonious unity.
2. Balance
The balance can be achieved at a visual display of impressive "heavy" in a room can be divided evenly throughout the room. For example, accessories with bright colors will impress more "heavy" when displayed on walls as compared with more color accessory solid match the wall color.
3. Focal Point
Each room should have one element that naturally attracts the eye when you enter the room. This can be architectural details, such as a painting or even the presence of a lamp.
4. Rhythm
A room that has a focal point will always spoil and turn our eyes to follow a rhythm like looking around the room, saw the other accessory components in the room.
5. Scale / Proportion
The room should be decorated with furniture and accessories and accents that fit in terms of shape and size. As well as any accessory that is displayed, should be in the same proportion to each other.
6. Colors and Details
Color can add to the spirit, and create an atmosphere of dim lighting, especially with the right support.
